This is pretty lame - I'm sitting in a lawn chair in the sun behind a neighbor's house at the lake to borrow a little of their wireless. It's pretty quiet out here. The only person I've come in contact with was our long lost friend Justin. Yes, he's home from the service again. He was overseas for a year and is home for good now (again). And yes, he was discharged on medical leave and is currently looking for a job. He needs to find a job as the food stamps ended last week - he knows this because he keeps looking at his iPhone and reading something, probably an update of credits from the food stamp people. He's staying at mom's, but that's temporary. Dad is considering catching the house on fire for the insurance money, and mom is considering leaving dad and relying on Justin for funds.....
There's good news, though - the baby they were expecting this past spring did not pan out. Seems after extensive DNA tests (are their non-extensive DNA tests??? Maybe Horatio of CSI knows. Merry, ask him if you run in to him in Fla.) the baby was not his at all.....BUT the baby due this September IS his and that is a definite without any DNA testing taking place. I didn't ask for details...... David, here's the GOOD NEWS......he's looking to buy the house across the street and next to Butch. He's noticed the for sale sign for some time now and he thinks he can make it happen. Shall we throw a housewarming party? We could let it double as a baby shower if they have closing at the same time as the baby gets here.
I keep hearing banjos in the distance and I'm quite sure I saw Burt Reynolds and Ned Beatty drive by a bit ago........
